FROM THE BIBLE
Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.”
Psalms 25:14 “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.”
Ecclesiastes 1:9 “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
Isaiah 46:10 “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”
It is apparent by these scripture that there is more to scripture that meets the eye.
Paul told his protégé Timothy in a letter to:
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Scripture is something that must be studied diligently and applied. But what happens when the Bible is taken for grant or its importance is minimized by those should who profess to be believers.
This site will place scripture in its place of paramount prominence. Its truth is presents rather it is historical or prophetic, typological or literal, symbolic or practical.
