Yeshuwah
Jesus Christ is the Central Person of the Bible. With a Personage whose Very Character is perfection, whose Very Power is inexhaustible, whose Very Being is eternal and whose Very Presence is limitless, whose Very Knowledge is immense, with such a One it would be unimaginable to think that He would not be present and active in the Old Testament. But some have postulated this unthinkable idea. You may hear them say, “You can’t find the name Jesus in the Old Testament.”

Jesus is a Greek transliteration of a Hebrew Name.
The Angel Gabriel said, “Behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.” Would the angel speak to this Hebrewess in Greek? Of Course Not! Gabriel would have spoken Hebrew to Mary. His name is YESHUWAH

Yeshuwah is used in the Old Testament
Yeshuwah can mean Yahweh is salvation, Yahweh's Salvation or Salvation. Think about how the understanding of the following scripture changes when the Lord is in veiw.

Hab:3:8: Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
